Where We Work
Supporting Communities Across Africa
Africa is home to more than 50 countries and thousands of unique communities.
The challenges facing one community can be very different from those facing another.
Feed Africa therefore takes a needs-led approach to deciding where support is directed.
We work through appropriate local relationships and project partners to identify needs, deliver assistance and monitor progress.
Our Focus
Our work can include communities facing:
- Extreme poverty
- Food insecurity
- Limited access to clean water
- Poor access to healthcare
- Barriers to education
- Unemployment and limited livelihoods
- Natural disasters
- Displacement and humanitarian emergencies
Working Locally
We believe effective international development starts with understanding local realities.
Where possible, we work alongside people and organisations with local knowledge and experience.
This helps ensure projects are relevant, practical and respectful of the communities they serve.
